The installation is a culmination of work completed between 2020 and 2022. Each counterpart speaks about the personal views of the artist as well as world events such as the rise of therapy, opioid addiction, religion, politics, investment, war, confessions, and confinement. The piece is a portrait of a former soldier in deep contemplation of his recent past and his roots in Chicago.
